Contractor of the Year Awards (CoTY)

The prestigious Contractor of the Year (CoTY) awards are given by the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) to members who have demonstrated outstanding work through their remodeling projects. The awards are designed to recognize the most exceptional remodeling projects and the companies that built them.
Encore’s entry in the competition was an Entire House Remodel in Harwich Port that was designed by Sam Striebert of Streibert Associates. Encore won the award at the Local Chapter level (Eastern Massachusetts) last fall and then advanced to the Regional Level to compete against remodelers from all over the Northeast. The entry won at the Regional Level in March. Past CoTY awards won by Encore include: 2004 Eastern Massachusetts Contractor of the Year and 2005 Regional Contractor of the Year.

Guildmaster with Distinction

GuildQuality Inc., an independent surveying firm that measures quality and customer satisfaction for the construction industry nationwide, bestowed upon Encore Construction the 2007 and 2008 Guildmaster with Distinction awards. The award acknowledges exemplary quality and a lengthy track record of exceptional customer service. Encore boasts a remarkable 97% recommendation rate. Remodeling Magazine’s Big 50

The Big50 is a remodeling business excellence award for best practices. Every May, Remodeling Magazine inducts 50 new companies who have set the standard for professionalism and integrity through smart marketing, exemplary business practices, unique design, and extraordinary impact on their community or the industry at large. Big50 remodelers run successful, growing companies of various sizes that have taken the lead in raising the standards of the industry. In the end, the name “Big50” is something of a misnomer, since the awards have little to do with a company’s size. The award recognizes excellence and leadership, and the companies who belong to this select group set an example for the rest of the industry.
