DALE R. NIKULA CR, FOUNDER AND PRESIDENT

Dale founded the company in 1995 with a commitment to providing superior service and an exceptional building experience. That commitment formed the foundation of our exceptional company. He earned his Bachelors Degree from Boston University and is a former United States Marine Corps Sargeant. As a Certified Remodeler, he is an active member of the Cape Cod Chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) and a Board Member of the Home Builders and Remodelers Association of Cape Cod.
Jean Butler General Manager

As General Manager, Jean oversees the day-to-day operations of the Company as well as the financial, marketing and strategic aspects of the business. Prior to joining Encore in 2004, Jean was the Fiscal Director of Jordan Hospital in Plymouth. Jean is a CPA and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Bryant University.
Bud Dey Sales Manager

Bud’s role is to organize, motivate and lead Encore’s Sales Team as they work with our clients to build their projects. Bud, a former Encore client, joined the company in 2007. Previously, he was VP of US and International Sales for PETNET Solutions, a Siemens Company and, prior to that, Bud was VP for National Accounts at Toshiba American Medical Systems.
Bob Moore Sales Associate

Bob Moore, who has recently joined the Encore sales team, brings a wealth of knowledge in custom home building on Cape, the Islands and Eastern Massachusetts. In addition, he has spent a considerable amount of time understanding “green” building. Bob’s style of working closely with the Client before, during and after the sale has made him successful and is the core of the Encore BuildPlus Program.
Susan Gerlach Sales Associate and Kitchen Designer

Jodi has been working in the custom kitchen business and has successfully overseen many projects for clients. Her passion for space planning, beautiful design and finishes, combined with her ability to hear a client’s wishes and requirements, have resulted in a solid portfolio of finished projects.
Barry Reopell CLC, Production Manager

Barry has thirty years of construction experience. He began his Encore career as a Project Leader in 2000. After successfully managing dozens of projects for Encore clients, Barry was promoted to Project Manager in 2005. In 2007, Barry was promoted to Production Manager, where he now oversees the Company’s Production Process ensuring that every project is completed on schedule, within budget, with zero punchlist and with the highest customer satisfaction. Barry is a Certified Project Leader and holds his Construction Supervisor License and OSHA Certification.
David Schaeffer CLC, Project Manager

With almost 40 years in the construction industry, David brings a wealth of knowledge to his position. As a Certified Lead Carpenter and Project Manager, David is responsible for the on-site management of our clients’ building and remodeling projects, ensuring that projects are done with the highest quality.
Jeffrey Neal Project Manager

Jeffrey has over 35 years of construction experience. His role with Encore entails the responsibility for the on-site management of our clients’ building and remodeling projects, ensuring that projects are completed with the highest quality. Jeffrey joined the Encore team in 2007 and brings a wealth of knowledge to his position. He maintains his Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor & Construction Supervisors Licenses.
Kathy DeMeyer Property Management Service Manager

Kathy joined Encore in 2003 as Production Manager. In August of 2007, Kathy took over Encore’s Property Management Division where she supervises the production of our clients’ smaller projects, coordinates warranty work and runs our HomeWatch services. Kathy holds a Construction Supervisor License and OSHA Certification.
